The B-130A Power Magic Ultra Battery is the latest and greatest way to power your BlackVue dash cam without tapping into your car’s battery. It keeps your dash cam running in parking mode or connected to the cloud—even when your engine’s off.
An upgrade over the B-130X, the new B-130A offers longer usage time (up to 55 minutes more), improved safety with lower charging and operating temps, and an even simpler install thanks to a new direct-to-dash-cam power cable.
Fast-Charging, Long-Lasting
The battery recharges while driving and powers your dashcam when the ignition is off. Its sleek, compact enclosure houses a large-capacity battery (12.8V / 7,500mAh / 96Wh).
Fast-Charging
Reach a full charge in 50 minutes when B-130A is hardwired. 90 minutes if connected to an outlet.
Long-lasting
Parking Mode can last more than 30 hours with a single-channel DR970X Plus (19 hours with the dual-channel version).
Connected
The battery status can be checked wirelessly with the BlackVue App.
USB-A port
To charge additional devices (5V 2A max output) 12V-24V Compatibility

Simple or Hardwired Installation
The BlackVue Ultra Battery has two installation modes, and with the new Wiring Auto Detection mode, the B-130A will adjust its charging current accordingly.
Simple installation:
Or easy peasy mode as we like to call it, simply plug the battery into the power outlet of your vehicle. The B-130A takes 90 minutes to reach a full charge from empty
Hardwired installation
The slightly more advanced option, connect the battery to the fuse panel for the fastest charging speed. A full charge from empty takes 50 minutes.
Check Your Battery From Your Phone
Connect Wirelessly
When connected to the BlackVue App you can check the charge percentage, charging voltage, and remaining charge time. The app also displays the remaining Parking Mode time based on the dashcam’s power consumption.
Fuel Gauge IC
The new fuel gauge integrated circuit keeps track of electric currents—charge and discharge—over time, to give you the most accurate battery info.

Use in any vehicle
Use in any vehicle and charge any USB powered accessory.
12V/24V compatibility
The B-130A supports both 12V and 24V electrical systems. This means it is compatible with the vast majority of personal, commercial, and heavy-duty vehicles on the market.
5V USB (2A max)
The battery has a USB power output, so you can charge any accessory, such as a phone or Wi-Fi hotspot, to keep your Cloud dashcam connected while in Parking Mode.

The Ultra Battery can be either connected to a cigarette lighter-type power socket or hardwired to your vehicle's fuse panel. When hardwired, the B-130A is able to draw up to 9A of power, versus 5A when plugged in using the cigarette lighter power adapter. Therefore, hardwiring is recommended to enable the fasfaq charging time. Note: unlike its predecessors (B-124 and B-124X), which have a Cigarette | OFF | Hardwire switch which must be matched to , B-130A has an ON/OFF switch and automatically adapts its power draw (charging current) to the wiring method.
Yes indeed! The Ultra Battery is powered by Lithium Iron Phosphate cells (LiFePO4). Power banks designed as backup batteries for phones and portable electronic devices are usually of the Lithium-ion (Li-ion) or Lithium-polymer (LiPo) type. Those high-density batteries are not suitable for use in a closed parked vehicle (where temperatures can reach high–and low–levels) as they risk causing a fire or explosion. LiFePO4 batteries can sustain more extreme temperatures, more charge cycles, and are also more environment-friendly.
mAh can be misleading if we don’t consider voltage. Tip: Think in terms of watt-hours (Wh). Of course, the type of battery should be taken into consideration: high-power density batteries have a higher capacity for a given volume. In other words, at the same capacity, a LiFePO4 battery is bigger than a Li-ion or LiPo battery. However, consumer electronics and car accessories generally assume different voltage values. The milliamp rating of power banks is usually based on a voltage of 3.7V. This means for a 10,000 mAh battery, the total capacity is 10,000mAh x 3.7V / 1,000 = 37Wh. By way of comparison, the Power Magic Ultra Battery has a capacity of 7,500mAh at 12.8V, which translates to 96Wh.
Yes. B-130A is compatible with 12V and 24V systems.
Yes, in carry-on luggage, in theory. But since batteries can be sensitive items to bring on an airplane, check with your local operator to be on the safe side. According to the IATA (International Air Transport Association), spare batteries under 100Wh can be carried on a plane in a carry-on luggage–NOT in checked luggage–like most lithium batteries, without requiring the operator’s approval.
