The incredible vehicle now wisely outfitted with the "Dashcam Defense": 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish. The BlackVue product line is the only brand of dashcam we recommend for a luxury vehicle such as this beautiful hand-built fully carbon fiber Vanquish:
NOTE: The BlackVue DR650GW-2CH has been discontinued, please click here to see the newest version: DR750S-2CH. The newer DR750S-2CH model looks virtually identical to the DR650GW-2CH featured in this gallery.
Looking in from the outside at the BlackVue DR650GW-2CH / DR750S-2CH front camera. The front camera unit contains the WiFi module, internal GPS antenna (for position and speed logging), and a 128gb BlackVue microSD memory card for maximum recording duration before looping:
The BlackVue DR650GW-2CH / DR750S-2CH dashcam is right at home in a luxury vehicle such as this Aston Martin. Now looking in from the driver's door:
Now looking at the BlackVue front and rear dashcam system from the passenger side of the Vanquish:
Sorry, we had to include a few bonus shots (above) of this gorgeous Vanquish! Here's what the BlackVue front camera looks like when viewed from the passenger side:
The BlackVue Power Magic Pro control box (allows for the camera to still record while the engine is turned off, and also prevents the battery voltage from dropping too low by turning the dashcam off should the voltage drop past an adjustable threshold) is nearly hidden but still accessible in the passenger side footwell of the Vanquish. This shot is just about eye level with the seat cushion so you can imagine how out of the way the Power Magic Pro is:
Now looking at the Aston Martin from the rear, we will see the BlackVue rear camera in the back windshield of the Vanquish. The rear camera is less than half the size of the front camera and it tucks in beautifully underneath the third brake light cover:
The BlackVue rear camera in the back windshield of the Vanquish as seen from a low vantage point inside the vehicle. From the driver's perspective this camera is essentially hidden from view and does not obscure any objects behind the vehicle:
Aston Martin Teddy approves! Never leave home without your BlackVue dashcam!
