This polarizing filter will help maximize the video quality of your VIOFO dash cam by reducing the sun's glare and reflections on the windshield. The filters are easy to install and remove since they can be quickly clipped on and off of the VIOFO front or rear camera lens. The filters have been calibrated for optimal alignment from VIOFO, but may be adjusted or rotated for final adjustments in your particular vehicle.

You should not need to remove the filter at night, as the dashcam will compensate automatically. Image quality is improved in night videos as well thanks to the glare reduction.
